Sinéad O’Hart is an author, podcaster, and parent, based in the midlands of Ireland.
Her first book, The Eye of the North, won the European Science Fiction Society’s Chrysalis Award (Ireland) in 2018, and since then she’s been shortlisted and longlisted for numerous awards, including the An Post Book of the Year Awards (2023) and the KPMG Children’s Books Ireland Book of the Year (2021 and 2023).
She’s the author of the Lola and Larch series for readers 6+, as well as a growing stack of adventurous, thrilling, funny, and imaginative novels for readers 8+. When not writing, she’s planning new episodes of Storyshaped podcast (co-hosted with author Susan Cahill), or wrangling her book-loving family.
