Síne Quinn

Author

Síne Quinn is a best-selling children’s author and holds an MPhil in Children’s Literature, Trinity College Dublin.

Her latest book The Faerie Isle, illustrated by Dermot Flynn (Walker Books, 2024; US Candlewick Press, 2025), was shortlisted for the KPMG CBI Awards, longlisted for a Carnegie award for illustration and was Hodges Figgis Children’s Book of the Month. Her first book, Holy Shocking Saints with Margaret Anne Suggs (2020), will be republished by Little Island Books in spring 2027.

Síne is a Children’s Books Ireland Champion of Reading and Book Doctor, and facilitates creative workshops in schools, libraries and festivals. She has edited acclaimed and award-winning children’s books. She lives in Dublin with three Irish giants and a faerie dog.
