Ruth Millington

Ruth Millington is an art historian, author, curator and broadcaster, who researches, writes and talks about great artists. For her first adult art book, Muse, Ruth worked like a detective, uncovering the real-life people found in famous portraits. She appears as an expert on TV and radio, telling stories about modern and contemporary art for the BBC, Sky Arts and Channel 4. She believes that art and its histories are for everyone, leading her to write 

This Book Will Make You An Artist which invites children to be more creative. Ruth also acts as a consultant, fact checking art-related books for various publishers. When she’s not working, she loves to turn old magazines into colourful collages.
