Rachel Ip has always loved language and literature. After studying modern languages and linguistics at Cambridge University, Rachel worked in marketing communications for over 10 years.
She was born in the UK and has lived in France, Belgium and Hong Kong. She speaks French, German and just enough Cantonese that she won’t get lost or go hungry.
She now lives in Honk Kong with her family.
The Forgettery won the 2022 English Association Picture Book Awards and The Last Garden was longlisted for the 2021 Klaus Flugge Prize and won the Crystal Kite Award for Middle East, India, and Asia.
