Gina Blaxill writes thrilling novels for young adults. Most of them feature angry girls who want to shake the world up.
She worked in university outreach for seven years, running workshops to demystify higher education, but now teaches creative writing as well as editing books by aspiring authors. Her third novel was nominated for the Carnegie Medal, and she has also won the Oldham Brilliant Books Award and the Warwickshire Book Award. She grew up in London but now lives in Essex with her family and imperious cats.
