Born in Nottingham and now based in Manchester, Ashley writes fantastical adventures for young people. His debut The Boy to Beat the Gods was shortlisted for the Jhalak Prize, the Branford Boase Award and The Week Junior Awards.
His follow-up Spirit Warriors was Indie Booksellers’ Book of the Month, and shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize. Treasure Rush: Curse of the Golden Coin publishes in March 2027. When he isn’t writing or reading, Ashley enjoys making music, gaming, binging anime, and being out in nature.
