A French Girl In New York
Maude Laurent is a spirited sixteen-year-old orphan, raised by the uncaring Ruchet family in a small town in the north of France. She has a passion for piano and a beautiful voice and she daydreams about being a famous opera singer on the grand stages of Paris.
One day, on a trip to Paris, Maude has the chance to sing to the audience of a beautiful old café. Maude doesn’t know it, but there’s a young influencer in the crowd who is streaming her performance live. She is quickly discovered by a big American music producer who takes her to New York to write her first album.
Maude is thrown into a whole new world where she discovers the magic of New York City, music, family, love, and the truth about her past.
Are Maude’s dreams finally coming true? Could she at last discover what happened to her parents? And could she actually become a famous singer?
