Michelle Harrison is a former Waterstone's bookseller and assistant editor. She now writes full-time. Originally from Grays in Essex, she has a degree in Illustration and lives in Oxfordshire with her partner, Darren, and two cats.
Her first novel, THE THIRTEEN TREASURES, won the Waterstone's Children's Book Prize and has been sold in over ten countries. It is followed by two sequels, THE THIRTEEN CURSES and THE THIRTEEN SECRETS.
She is now working on UNREST, a stand-alone ghost novel for young adults, due out in May 2012. .
